Istanbul's Military Museum
Possibly the BEST museum ever. I mean it. The exhibit on the siege of Constantinople=AMAZING. Sooo many cool weapons and stuff. And loads and loads of nationalist propaganda. Like, when they say "terrorists," they generally mean Kurds. And check out the pictures from the Armenian room. Oh, and the Mehter band played, which was really something. Like Kelly Ryan said, "If the Ottomans were attacking my city, and I heard the Mehter band playing, I would shit myself." Eloquent as always, Kelly.
