We were able to get closer to the house when we went around to the other side. As we approached the barriers, a man came running out of the house and warned us that we were fine where we were but we could not go past the barrier. We assured him that we had no intentions of going past the barriers.

We went by Obama's house in Hyde Park in Chicago, and we got yelled at by all the security people when we got started getting closer than we were allowed. :)
