Statue Park: These boots belonged to the enormous statue of Stalin near Heroes Square. They tried to take the statue down during the 1956 rebellion, but they had trouble taking it down. So, they cut the statue at the knees and left the boots. The Stalin statue was completely destroyed, and many people took a piece of the statue home as a memento.
