New Camera Test Fortune (and friendship) smiled on me today: In a nutshell, after years of using off-the-shelf and personally modified photography equipment a friend gave me a truly professional grade camera that he had gotten at a business he worked at that has since become history. These were just some of the test images I took while waiting for the train that would take me back to the southside. I still believe, however, that anyone who is interested in photography should learn the art/documentary form with cheap cameras first. Photography isn't just about a well-executed image or something beautiful. It's also about knowing what to record and how to compose what you want to record. Ok... with that disclaimer having been given, I can't wait to photograph aircraft with this 18X optical zoom!
(Note: These have all been reduced in quality to fit on to Grinnell Gallery. This is the first time I have hit image size limits)
