Glass Sculpture Redesign
I decided that my first glass sculpture was not ambitious enough, so I spent lunch drawing up several variations for the expansion of the core into three, three-footed structures that merge and then expand into a 'crest' or 'wing' at the top. It was only after I had gone through several variations that I realized I was re-creating 'Winged Victory at Samothrace' on accident (or by subconscious osmosis?). I'll have to redo some of the top tonight. Still, I thought that, since I'm not posting photos of finished products as much anymore, people might want to look at these. BTW, I know of no other person who posts pre-production work for the benefit of a somewhat hostile audience on a regular basis.
