General  -  This is a selection of photos taken during my first year of amateur photography. I didn't know if I was an 'artist' or a documentarian, so the images reflect a lack of sureness of purpose. In general, though, I always thought of my pictures as frames from my own awareness/experience and so never bothered to 'clean up' their composition so as to make them more conventional (for instance, things like hand rails aren't cropped out of pictures taken from bridges).
