The route here had a lot of history- here, it was the Oregon Trail in the 1840s and 1850s, the Pony Express Trail in the early 1860s, the Union Pacific (first) Transcontinental from the late 1860s onwards, the Lincoln Highway (first paved transcontinental highway) in the 1920s, and now US-30 (my route) I-80 (the beaten path).
